Ordering a disc

If you would like to purchase a DVD please either use one of my ebay auctions here or contact me via email and order one. I accept paypal only without prior contact.

ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat Linux

The release date for this software is Sunday 10 October 2010. All orders before this date will be shipped on the day of release.

My auctions have been the cheapest on ebay UK for ubuntu DVDs - my price plus postage always puts me at the top of page 1 and this will not change. I do not sell cheap items, I sell a good item at a cheap price.

As you can see from my feedback profile my auctions are hassle free - any problem (which is rare in the extreme) is handled swiftly and professionally.

Auction info
This auction is for a DVD version of the official release (not alpha) of ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat Linux Operating System and bundled software.

Returns
My returns policy is simple - if the disc is damaged in transit contact me and I will send a new disc.

Why buy from ubuntudvds?
The release of any new version of ubuntu places a massive load on the ubuntu mirrors, ordering from me will alleviate that load as I will only need to download one copy of each of the 32 and 64 bit versions ready to ship to all my customers.

Note
Please state whether you have a 64 bit PC or not (if you don't state 64 bit I will automatically send the 32 bit DVD intel PC version).
I can also send alternates such as powerpc, Playstation 3 (PS3) or the latest daily build DVD. If you require an alternate please let me know when you order.

Disc postage and packaging
Each disc is verified before shipment to ensure data integrity and packaged well to minimise the risk of damage during transit. The items will be sent by Royal Mail first class post using the following schedule:
  • Ordered Friday-Monday: posted Tuesday
  • Ordered Tuesday-Thursday: Posted Friday
